Trinity – Leeds

Good morning, how are you all? I’ve had a bit of better week, I took my final exam of my course and I’m happy to say I passed with flying colours 😀 so I’m just waiting to receive my Certificate to make it official, but I was very happy when I saw my score! Through sheer determination and support from my family I completed the course.

This past Sunday, we ventured to Leeds. which isn’t that far from us, so we could take dad out for abit, and I thought I would capture how different shopping has changed compared to before Lockdown and before this virus went Global.

Trinity

At Trinity Leeds, you’ll find more than 120 national and international brands under one iconic roof. Hungry shoppers are in luck with a range of over 40 top restaurants, coffee shops, bars and Trinity Kitchen – a unique mix of vibrant restaurants and street food vans.

Trinity Leeds is a shopping and leisure centre in the city centre of Leeds, England, named after the adjacent 18th-century Holy Trinity Church. Developed by Land Securities and designed by Chapman Taylor, it opened on 21 March 2013, with over 130,000 recorded visitors on opening day. The shopping centre has a concept food area in named Trinity Kitchen, hosting both permanent tenants and rotating “pop-up” vendors.[5] Everyman Cinemas opened a 3,700 m2 (40,000 sq ft) four screen art-house cinema in the centre, its first premises in the north of England.

Your safety is their number one priority, so they have rolled out lots of new in-centre signage to help you keep a safe distance from others while shopping.

There’s also a one-way system in place. Simply follow the arrows on the floor.

They have installed hand sanitiser stations, and our in-centre cleaning teams will be working harder than ever to help make Trinity Leeds a safe place for everybody.

Set over 3 floors, each floor has many different shops that you can brows in, but with them re-opening gradually at the moment, not all shops are accessible to go in.

On the 3rd floor, that’s where you would find the Cinema (which at the moment is temporarily closed), and you will also find the Trinity Kitchen, where you can get some food and a drink, obviously from a safe distance.

With the likes of YO! sushi, Shakeaway,Wasabi Sushi & Bento, Costa and T.G.I Fridays you’re bound to find something you like!

On the 2nd floor, there are a few more coffee shops, but the majority of it is shops, you can also go outside on this floor to shop around in M&S and WHSmiths and other shops that might take your interest. The toilets are also located on the this floor as well and are open.

Primark (which actually before the lining up procedure, was accessible), but you can only enter from the 2nd floor (where someone will let you know when you can go in).

Shopping has definitely changed since compared to last year, having to line up before going in and having hands checked, things have really changed because of this Virus and even though some people might not like it, the shops have to put these measures in place to ensure the safety of others.

Thank you for reading this post, I will see you all next week! 😊
