Comedy Film Quotes (Part 1)

Good morning, everyone. Has everybody been enjoying the sunshine?☀️ My family and I definitely made full use of it; it also helped that my dad had a few days off, so we spent the majority of our time outdoors. On one of the days, we took a day trip to a museum for a Doctor Who exhibition 🕴️, which is located at the Peterborough Museum & Art Gallery until November 2nd. All three of us love Dr Who, moreso from the 2000’s and onwards (our favourites are David Tennant and Matt Smith), even though the exhibition was small & limited, it was still awesome 🤩 I will be doing a post about it in the near future, so keep a look out for that 👀. That was probably the only highlight that happened since I last posted, as I also had to have 2 emergency appointments at the dentist 🦷 I had to have an emergency extraction because my tooth was severely infected (I’d been told previously that I had a small one 🤏 but it wasn’t bothering me) after having an X-ray, it turns out it had got bigger and had spread into my jaw-bone which was causing my face to swell. They had to quickly remove it which wasn’t an easy task (at one point – a referral to the hospital for surgery was mentioned) as the tooth ended up snapping, but after a lot of hacking away at it, they managed to get the whole thing out but it was a really tough procedure which ended up with me having to get another emergency appointment a few days later to get some antibiotics as my face was still a bit swollen and I was still in pain, thankfully I was told it was healing nicely when she (the dentist) had a look, it was just taking longer for everything to heal than it normally should due to it spreading to the bone but I’m now on the mend where that’s concerned! 🙏 Now, I just have to deal with some other health problems that I’m suffering from, but that’s a private matter for now. Anyway, let’s get on with today’s post..

As I’ve been in a lot of pain due to my tooth, I’ve been doing a couple of things (when we’ve not been outside); The first thing is I’ve been having a lot more ice cream (mainly a small tub of either Oreo or Ben&Jerry’s Caramel Chew-Chew) and the second is watching comedy films (my go-to genre) to cheer me up and I thought, why not do a post on the bestest and funniest comedy film quotes. Movies are more than just entertainment. Iconic funny movie quotes from fan favorites and cult classics like Elf, Coming to America, Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, The Big Lebowski, and more have become a part of our culture. The funniest movie quotes infiltrate our daily lives in the form of hilarious memes and have even found their way into our conversations. So, next time you need a good chuckle, sit back, relax, and enjoy these funny movie quotes.

  1. This was a fun post! I was laughing through it! I was afraid I would look silly and weird! lol. I’m sorry to hear about your dental issue. I hope you’re getting lots of rest and feeling a lot less pain now.

It’s nice to meet another whovian! lol. I love Doctor Who! My favorite Doctor is the 11th Doctor! He’s who I started with! Clips of the show kept popping up in my YouTube feed, and I saw it as a sign to just watch the show! lol. What do you think about the current era of Doctor Who? I know a lot of people were not really happy with the 13th and 15th Doctors. I personally loved 13! As for 15, I haven’t seen his episode yet!

    1. Thank you for your kind words! It’s good to have a laugh. I believe in the saying ‘’laughter is the best medicine.” Thankfully I’ve had no further issues with my mouth and feeling a lot better than I was!

The 11th Doctor was brilliant, I loved his relationship with Amy & Rory, they were like the three amigos that bounced off of one another so effortlessly! I loved the 13th Doctor too, it made a fresh change to have a woman portray the Doctor. I haven’t watched the 15th Doctor yet either, I’m a little bit behind and have yet to catch up, so we have another thing in common there. I hope he brought his flair to the role like the actors/actresses before him!

      1. I’m so happy you’ve been recovering smoothly!

It definitely was fun to see a woman bring her own style to the role! Which doctor did you start with? Have you seen any of classic Who?

      2. I agree with you there! I started with Christopher Eccleston from his very first episode when it was rebooted, It was only because my parents were fans of the classics from years before that I actually started watching Dr Who in the first place, and ever since I was hooked! But I’ve not seen any of the old episodes unfortunately. Which one did you start with?

      3. Sorry for the very late reply! Interesting! I’m the only doctor who fan in my family unfortunately! I’m trying to get someone else interested! Lol. But I started with the Eleventh Doctor! To me he’s the best! lol. I started watching Doctor Who because video clips of the show kept showing up in my YouTube feed, particularly clips of the Eleventh Doctor! I decided I should watch the show and looked specifically for episodes with the Eleventh Doctor! I went back and watched the 9th and 10th doctors after! If you had to pick one favorite doctor can you, and who would it be? lol.

      4. Don’t worry about it, no apologies necessary! 😊 i hope you manage to get someone else on board on becoming a whovian, it’s unfortunate that your the only person as it’s always nice to share with others your opinions and talk about the show! He is definitely one of the best ones, he’s my second favourite ❤️ Matt Smith was an absolutely brilliant choice to take over from David Tennant, they both bought the comedy elements to the character for me which is what made me love the show more 😃 so to answer your question, David Tennant (10th Doctor) was/is my all time favourite, but Matt Smith (11th Doctor) is right behind 😁
