Good morning/afternoon/evening, hope you’re all well!
My family and I recently tried this new recipe out and I hope you like it as much as we did…enjoy!
- 4 Large Sausages (Pork, Beef, or Vegetarian)
- 1tbsp Oil, to fry
- 1 Small Onion, chopped
- 1 Clove Garlic, chopped finely
- 1 Small Green Pepper, cut into slices
- 400g Tin of Chopped Tomatoes
- 1tbsp Tomato Purée
- 1tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 400g Tin Baked Beans
- Baked Potatoes or Rice to serve
-
Heat a little oil in a wok and fry the sausages. Take out of the pan and leave to one side.
-
Tip out any excess oil from the wok, fry the onions, garlic and peppers for 2-3 minutes.
-
Season with salt and pepper.
-
Add the tinned tomatoes, tomato purée and the Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 5-6 minutes.
-
Cut each sausage into 4 chunks and add to the pan along with the beans.
-
Serve with baked potatoes or rice (depending on your preference).

This is completely unrelated to the recipe, but I just wanted to say something about The Avengers coming to an end. As you’re probably aware Avengers: Endgame came out to cinemas and while I have not seen the movie yet, I wanted to say I have loved watching the Marvel movies over the last 11 years and I will talk more about this in next weeks post, but until then I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week.
