Hello everybody, I’m back 👋 did everyone have a good Christmas and a happy New Year? 🥳 ours was actually very quiet mostly due to my dad having brought a viral bug into our house and infecting us all, I’m not gonna complain, I just wish that was all we had to deal with. I unfortunately ended up being rushed to hospital on Christmas Eve after becoming severely ill 😷 I’m on the mend now but it did make me come to the realization that I needed to take a step back a bit where blogging is concerned, so rather than doing a post every week, I’ll be taking it down to every two weeks instead to let me focus on my health, I hope you understand, Thank you 🙏🏼
Anyway, on with today’s post… January 8th is actually quite a hard day for me as 7 years ago today in 2018, I, unfortunately, lost my first baby 😩 now I know a lot of people might find it ‘stupid’ to refer to your first pet as your baby, but Thumper to me was a lot more than that, he was my best friend who just knew when I needed hugs and even more so when I needed a laugh 🤭 again he was my best friend. I finally wanted to do a commemorative post to honor him, so here are some pictures and a couple of videos showing how cheeky and weird he was (in the best possible way)! Miss you Thump 🐰
And here’s a couple of videos of the cheeky rascal!
If you need any support for pet bereavement I’m including some links to some charities that you can get in touch with, all you just need to do is click on them:
- Blue Cross (UK)
- RSPCA (UK)
- APPCC (UK)
- PDSA (UK)
- APLB (USA)
- Living With Pet Bereavement (USA)
- Best Friends.org (USA)
Thank you for coming to my blog and checking out today’s blog, again I hope you understand my reasoning behind taking a step back, I apologize if it’s inconvenient for you but I must do right by my health and put it first. Last year taught me that I was spreading myself way too thin and putting too much pressure on myself and needed to prioritize some things, so thank you if you’ve read this far, I appreciate it 🙏🏼

So glad you are back, and Happy New Year to you. Nice tribute to Thumper.
