September Quotes!

Morning everyone, hope you’ve all been alright! Are everybody’s kids (if you have any) back at school? And if so, are you happy that they are? I know a lot of people are glad to be able to get back to some normalcy and have a routine again 🙃 My nephews both started school this week, the oldest (he’s 5) started primary school for the first time yesterday and the youngest (who turns 2 in October) started nursery, I can’t believe how time is going by so quickly, it only seems like last week they were little babies 👶 their growing up so fast.
So quite a bit has happened since my last post. To start with, we ended up at the hospital with my dad, who had to undergo some tests as he hadn’t felt right since his car accident. Thankfully, everything came back normal; they think the way he’s feeling is all down to stress, which is understandable after what happened. Another contributing factor that was adding to the stress was his job, which didn’t help as that’s been affecting his health a lot over the years, but luckily, he’s now managed to get a new job, which he officially started yesterday. He amazingly seems happier and lighter, so fingers crossed 🤞🏼 it will remain that way.
We didn’t spend much of my dads holiday indoors, in fact we spent a lot of time out, especially over the bank holiday weekend; On the Friday, we had a day out at Skegness which was nice and surprisingly relaxing ☺️ followed by spending the day at my sisters on the Sunday, getting to have some quality time with her and the boys before school started and life became hectic. Seeing them elevated our moods even further before finally ending the bank holiday weekend on the Monday with yet another trip to the hospital to get my stitches taken out, which didn’t actually happen as the cut on my hand was still exposed and still today hasn’t healed enough not to need stitches 😒 I will be honest though – it didn’t surprise me that it hasn’t as my body doesn’t heal very quickly anymore (I have two scars on my legs that took months to heal) so I know its going to take some time, I’ve just got to be patient.

Anyway on with this week’s post…The changing of seasons can be bittersweet, especially when it’s summer you’re saying goodbye to. Instead of thinking about how much you’ll miss all those pool parties and summer barbecues, think about all there is to look forward to in the coming fall! The crisp air brings cozy sweaters, pumpkin-flavored treats, and the breathtaking transformation of leaves into vibrant hues. September is a meaningful month (it’s also my birth month), and this collection of the best quotes about September to help you kick off fall is the perfect way to celebrate it!

  1. Winnie the Pooh’s nailed it perfectly. Having said that, and without wishing to seem unduly cynical, September is the month when the shops start stocking their shelves with Christmas goodies, with the express intention of separating me from my hard-earned money…we’ve already bought chocolates for the Christmas tree, but please don’t tell the Pooh! 😊
